Vetconde opened on Rua Fonte do Serralheiro in 2002. Since then, the people of Vila do Conde have been bringing the same dogs and cats back year after year, and then their children's.
One reviewer's dog, Ánia, has been coming since the day she was born. She turns 12 in August. Another family brings the grandparents' dogs, the mum's dog and their own. It's a small clinic where the vets know your pet's whole story.
Visitors on holiday from Spain and Germany were seen without an appointment, the same way as everyone else.
